We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT CE) for our client based in Bristol, BS16. The role involves trucking only, including customer work, collecting trailers, delivering to hubs, returning to depot, collaborating with the team, and ensuring efficient operations.
Shift & Pay
- Shifts run Monday to Sunday, ranging from full time, part time, ad-hoc to weekends. Hours are after or night shifts.
- Monday to Friday: £18.15ph PAYE
- Saturday: £23.52ph PAYE
- Over time (over 8 hours) Monday to Saturday: £25.25ph PAYE
- Sunday: £25.25ph PAYE
- Flat rate Bank Holidays: £34.23ph PAYE

Responsibilities
- Engage in customer work: take the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, deliver it to a hub, and return to the depot.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
- Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to the position.
- Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).
- At least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
- Flexibility to work shifts Monday to Sunday with start times from 12pm to 9pm (all paid at night rate).
- Ability to travel to a local site for tacho card download prior to the position.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
