Job Overview
Contract: Permanent, Part‑time, 30 hours per week (All Year Round).
Salary: Band 04, Points 5 to 6, starting at Point 5. Actual starting salary: £20,743.20 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining school grounds to a high standard: mowing, hedge cutting, pruning, planting and general upkeep.
- Using a range of grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Keeping storage areas tidy and tools well‑maintained.
- Supporting the delivery of safe, accessible, and beautiful outdoor spaces for students and staff.
- Following environmental and health & safety policies while performing all duties.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture or landscaping.
- Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.
- Enthusiasm for maintaining green spaces and sports pitches.
- Understanding of health & safety procedures and willingness to learn.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Horticulture or technical qualifications.
- Experience working in an educational or public setting.
- Familiarity with artificial turf maintenance or pesticide use (PA1/PA6).
- Full UK driving licence.
