MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing technology company that is building secure, enterprise-grade AI solutions for organisations operating in highly regulated environments. The company has evolved from a specialist consultancy into a product-focused business, developing its own AI platform and experiencing growth across customer base and product teams. They are hiring Product Designers at Mid to Senior level to help shape the future of their AI products. This role is focused on designing and evolving the design system and component libraries, so strong experience building, maintaining, and scaling design systems is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from discovery through to delivery
- Create intuitive user experiences for sophisticated software products
- Design, build and scale design systems and reusable UI component libraries
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to influence product direction
- Conduct user research, prototyping and usability testing
- Mentor and support other designers (Senior and Principal levels)
- Help drive design strategy and best practice across the organisation (Principal level)
Qualifications
- Product design experience appropriate to Mid, Senior or Principal level
- Strong UX, interaction design and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience working on or owning design systems and UI component libraries
- Experience designing complex digital products, platforms or enterprise software
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
- Exposure to AI-enabled products or emerging technologies would be beneficial but not essential
