Overview
The Service Youth Matters is a fun, engaging youth work service supporting disabled children and teenagers under 18 years of age. We provide group-based activities, inclusive programmes, and summer schemes for people with disabilities, autism, ADHD, and brain injury to participate and unleash their potential.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Youth Officers and Project Workers to deliver fun and exciting opportunities for young people with physical disabilities, autism, ADHD, and brain injury.
- Plan and facilitate activities such as bowling, cinema, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, visits to local youth clubs, or summer schemes.
- Ensure activities take place in the evenings, on weekends, or during the school holidays.
- Support participants in developing inclusion, personal growth, and independence.
Benefits
- Annual leave based on 5.6 weeks (inclusive of public and statutory holidays), accrued and paid in arrears per quarter.
