We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our early years setting and continue to provide high-quality care and education for children in a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment. About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring full compliance with EYFS requirements and all safeguarding and welfare standards. You will drive high standards of teaching and learning, support staff development, and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and EYFS statutory requirements
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection
- Support, coach and develop staff through supervision and training
- Monitor and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment
- Build strong relationships with families and the local community
- Manage occupancy, budgets and operational performance
- Promote an inclusive, positive and stimulating environment for children
About You
- Level 3 Early Years qualified (minimum) – Level 5/6 or equivalent in leadership desirable
- Experienced in a nursery leadership or deputy management role
- Knowledgeable in EYFS, Ofsted framework and safeguarding procedures
- A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Passionate about early years education and child development
- Able to lead, inspire and motivate a team effectively
- Calm, professional and solution-focused under pressure
