We are on the hunt for an experienced sales controller to join our team. At Gran Luchito, you will play a key role in shaping and growing one of the UK’s most exciting challenger food brands. Responsible for driving commercial strategy and revenue growth across key retail accounts. You will drive the brand’s market share within the Mexican and World Foods category, ensuring the business remains competitive, profitable, and ambitious in its growth targets.
Full Time 40hrs a week - home based with some travel required.

Trading since 2012, we have a range of over 20 Mexican products that we sell to Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado, Booths, Whole Foods Market and export to several markets around the world, including Sweden and Australia. We work with manufacturing partners in Mexico, Europe and the United Kingdom. We are a small global remote working team with team members in the UK, Italy and South Africa.

About You
To succeed in the role the right candidate will be an experienced sales manager, preferably with experience working and managing accounts of Major UK Supermarkets and a self-starter ready to make a significant impact on the Gran Luchito business. You will naturally capture the distinctiveness of the Gran Luchito 'Great Little Fighter' brand, and lead the sales team whilst embodying our core values of being nimble, authentic, progressive, and inclusive.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the grocery Sales Team
- Manage key UK retail accounts such as Waitrose and Tesco
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to implement the UK strategy.
- Bring in new business
- Creating and implement annual JBPs for customers.
- Managing P&L of accounts within budget.
- Effective internal and external communication of performance, recommending specific actions where the business looks to consolidate areas of strength as well as rectify underperformance.

What we are looking for:
- A highly experienced FMCG professional with 5+ years of proven success working with major UK supermarkets.
- Full UK driving licence (not essential - but ability to travel around the UK where required).
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and ability to hit KPIs.
- Excellent customer relationship management.
- Good understanding of IT systems relevant to the role.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills to measure, forecast and optimise sales performance.
- IT Literate with advanced user ability on Google Sheets/Excel & Google Slides/Powerpoint.
- A passion for selling and comfortable negotiating with buyers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively work remotely in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment, with excellent project management skills, comfortable juggling multiple projects.
- Passionate about food, cooking and Mexican cuisine is a plus!
