What are the main tasks of that role?
- Creating plans (sales, budget, earnings, investments, costs, including cross-departmental topics/projects)
- Analysing and collecting market, customer, and competitor data
- Acquisition of new customers/new projects (national and international)
- Coordinating and monitoring the processing of technical and commercial customer inquiries
- Creating and tracking offers in line with guidelines
- Leading and managing contract negotiations (national and international)
- Submitting and coordinating orders and necessary activities to related departments
- Leading claim negotiations (customer claims based on contractual terms)
- Responsibility for accounts receivable management (clarification of open items)
- Collaboration in project teams for adaptation and new projects
- Preparing content for customer events (trade fairs, internal events, presentations at customer premises), including participation
- Personal customer support, including correspondence (national and international)
- Performing target/actual comparisons (DB4, sales, costs), creating forecasts, and analysing deviations
- Creating individual reports for business reviews, monthly reporting, and sales management
- Active management of the product portfolio for assigned customer groups during series production and spare parts phases
- Development and execution of account strategies to maximise revenue, customer retention and growth
Required qualifications:
- Completed degree in engineering, business administration, or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in sales/Proven track record of B2B sales and account development/growth
- Experience in an Offroad vehicle engineering related product preferred
- Good analytical and coordination skills
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent English skills, German helpful but not required
- Ability to work under pressure and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Communication skills and enthusiasm
- Initiative, independence, and assertiveness
- Determination and willingness to perform
- Prepared to travel both nationally and internationally as required
