  • Create stunning User Interface art assets that are flexible, efficient, and adaptable to a variety of artistic styles suitable for the "New Games" pipeline.
  • Design and directly implement user interface screens within Unity, ensuring that the final in‑game experience matches the design vision.
  • Work closely with game designers and lead artists to establish and maintain a consistent, world‑class visual identity for new IPs.
  • Partner with engineers and technical artists to solve complex implementation challenges and ensure designs are optimised for mobile performance.
  • Guide the work of other UI/UX artists, providing actionable feedback and fostering a culture of creative excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with UI implementation in the Unity Engine (UGUI or similar) is essential.
  • Highly proficient in Photoshop and Figma for high‑fidelity prototyping and asset creation.
  • Proven experience in the mobile game industry, with a deep understanding of mobile‑specific design patterns and constraints.
  • Expert knowledge of UX principles with a focus on practical problem solving and rapid prototyping.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong artistic sense, typography, colour theory, and layout skills.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with engineers, artists, and product leads to balance creative vision with technical feasibility.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.

Good to have

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, as well as UI animation and visual effects (VFX) skills.
  • Proactive ability to provide constructive feedback and receive it effectively to iterate on designs.
  • Experience with different methods of play‑testing and the ability to translate player data into meaningful UI/UX improvements.
  • Experience working across multiple UI/UX styles simultaneously, from hyper‑casual to mid‑core aesthetics.
