To provide support to the LRG team in relation to all legal and compliance issues, including day‑to‑day Data Protection compliance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Advising, undertaking in‑house and managing external solicitors in relation to a wide range of real estate disputes, litigation and proceedings, principally in relation to residential property.
- Advice and management of external solicitors in relation to non‑real estate disputes and potential actions faced by the Group.
- Advising on ad hoc legal queries and contracts.
- Developing other individuals within the Group to understand the legal issues which materially impact on their role.
- Ensuring Grainger is compliant with UK GDPR and other relevant legislation.
- Supporting the business with all Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) as a matter of course for all areas where PII is a risk.
- Lead the Data Protection Champions Forum and act as a liaison between DPC and DPCF.
