To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A proven track record as a Business Manager, Sales Controller or Sales Manager within the automotive industry. Alternatively, a Senior Sales Executive with skills and experience which demonstrate readiness of a promotional step.
  • Good financial and commercial understanding
  • A positive and forward-thinking work ethic
  • The skills and experience to lead and inspire a team
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working as part of a team in a target driven environment, supporting both shared and personal objectives.

Your duties will include:

  • Reporting to the Sales Director, your main goal will be to enhance the sales and profitability of new and used vehicles and related products.
  • Effectively motivate and support the sales team to reach expected targets.
  • Buying and selecting used cars at competitive prices to maximise resale profitability.
  • Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service.
  • Ensure effective stock management and profiling.
  • Support site maintenance efforts alongside Management.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create strategies that boost sales.
  • Mentor and lead a sales team to enhance departmental performance.
  • Strive towards career progression with support from our business.

EMG Business Managers work flexible schedules, including weekends.
