Location: Bridgnorth

Hours: 46 hours per week. Night shift, Monday to Thursday (18:00 - 06:00)

Salary: Up to £23.10 per hour (approx £55k per annum), inclusive of shift allowance. Dependent on experience.

About the role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a key role in the smooth operation of our facilities. From handling installations and repairs, to supporting a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, you'll be central to minimising disruption to our production line and helping us deliver excellence.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out plant and equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Focus on solutions to problems to create an environment of learning and continuous improvement
  • Attend maintenance team meetings to communicate production/maintenance plans.
  • Install and set up new bays, & new and additional plant as required
  • Co-ordinate with managers and suppliers on the development of new equipment and plant layout to maximise production capacity

Who we're looking for:

You'll have existing experience of reactive and PPM maintenance within an industrial/heavy engineering environment. It would be great if you also have:

  • Ability to read and understand Electrical & Mechanical schematic drawings
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics/or Hydraulics
  • Experience of working with a Foundry is desirable
  • Ability to travel to site
