As our Company continues to grow, we are looking for a highly committed and organised person to join our Human Resources team at our Head office in Carlisle. You will provide Administration support to the team covering a wide range of HR topics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing business and start a very rewarding career in Human Resources; you will undoubtedly gain valuable experience and a full insight into the HR function.

Main Responsibilities

  • Driving licence, photocard licence and car insurance checks
  • Gathering training cards and certificates from new starters
  • Booking training – e.g. EUSR courses
  • Checking return to work/self certificated forms are received for all sickness absences and updating HR records
  • Process leavers
  • Process employee probations
  • Posting job adverts
  • Drafting offer letters
  • Checking new starter paperwork / setting up employees on HR System
  • Requesting new starter equipment/IT equipment/ID badges

Working Hours

25 hour per week, Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 2.30pm.

Experience Required

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to workload and a willingness to learn
  • Confident communicator – both verbal and written formats.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player with proactive approach.
  • Excellent administration skills, with a high attention to detail.
