About this role
We are looking for a proactive and motivated team member to support our Design team. This role is perfect for someone looking to progress into a technical design role. Joining the team as a Design Administrator, the postholder will be responsible for inputting and amending data, optimising our drawings efficiently, and ensuring that deadlines are met on time. There will be a required to use multiple systems (training will be provided) and to align multiple sets of data. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy solving problems, delivering solutions and be an excellent communicator.
Main responsibilities
- Input and amend data.
- Ensure that deadlines are met on time.
- Using multiple systems (AutoCAD -training provided).
Working hours
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday from 8.30am – 4.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. You will be based at our Head Office in Carlisle, with the possibility of working from home one day per week.
Experience required
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft software
- Be able to demonstrate that you are a proactive team player
- Enjoy solving problems and delivering solutions
- Very good attention to detail
