We are actively recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team for busy multidrop delivery routes from our depots in Bridge of Allan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver milk and other food products to shops, restaurants, dairies, hotels etc.
- Complete Tachograph procedures accurately.
- Carry out temperature checks on the vehicle and record information.
- Maintain cleanliness of the van, both internally and externally, and report any faults or defects.
- Assist with loading of vehicle adhering to all H&S regulations.
- Reconcile deliveries.
- Comply with Working Time and European Tachograph regulations.
Experience required:
- Experience in Class 2 Multi Drop Driving.
- Customer care experience.
- Valid CPC & Digital tachograph.
Skills & Knowledge required:
- Manual Handling.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Good numeracy skills.
Additional Information:
- Early morning starts are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service are essential.
- Knowledge of UK geography and efficient route planning is beneficial.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.16 per hour
