Due to an exciting period of growth, we are looking to add an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Quality Engineer to provide quality assurance support to the Site Management teams on our Northern Ireland based projects. Experienced Quality Assurance Engineers or Civil Engineers who are looking for a new challenge are welcome to apply for this post. Graduates are also encouraged to apply.

This role may, on occasion, require your presence on other UK wide sites, so the willingness to travel is essential. Candidates with a Civil Engineer/Construction related degree would be held in high regard, as would those with recognised and approved Quality Management qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the QA/QC management system at site
• Coordinate quality inspections with all site sub-contractors and vendors
• Coordinate all non-destructive testing on site
• Coordinate with the client's representative on all quality matters
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with applicable codes and standards
• Participate in site internal and external audits
• Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built handover to client
• Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action
• Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses
• Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan
• Complete and coordinate the approval of the site's QC technical submittals to the customer
• Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues
• Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the project's subcontractors QC personnel
• Elaborate inspection and test programme
• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current
