About The Role
GRAHAM is growing and we are now looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our Civil Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major highways and civil engineering schemes within a collaborative, supportive environment.
What are some of the key responsibilities of our Land Surveyor?
- Providing accurate survey data to support design, construction, planning and quality assurance activities across the project.
- Conducting land and topographical surveys, including distance, angle and elevation measurements.
- Producing and processing digital mapping using AutoCAD, NRG and GIS tools.
- Carrying out cut & fill calculations, stockpile volumes and earthworks reporting.
- Setting out and establishing control networks using GPS, Total Stations and laser equipment.
- Delivering as built surveys, deformation monitoring and hydrographic surveys.
- Coordinating with Site Engineers on design changes, priorities and inspections.
- Managing survey records and assisting with drone and laser scanning activities.
What we're looking for from you:
- Proven experience on civil engineering projects; highways experience is a strong advantage.
- Competent with modern survey instrumentation and CAD software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
- A collaborative, proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
