Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician Location: Ealing Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full Time, Permanent We are currently seeking a Water Hyhiene Technician to join our client, a well established mechanical contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in water hygiene and treatment, with ongoing training and development available. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out water hygiene tasks including legionella control on hot and cold water systems * Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of water treatment equipment * Manage chemical dosing systems and ensure regulatory compliance * Perform minor remedial works as required * Accurately complete service reports via PDA * Maintain professional relationships with clients and provide high-quality customer service * Ensure all work meets health and safety regulations and internal procedures Essential Requirements: * City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Water Treatment * Legionella Awareness certification * Plumbing experience * Full UK driving licence * Strong communication and team-working skills * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Desirable: * Experience in water hygiene (1 year+) * Familiarity with ACoP L8, HSG274, and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations * Additional health & safety training (e.g., Working at Height, Manual Handling) If you are reliable, motivated, and looking to grow your skills in a supportive team environment, we’d love to hear from you
