We are currently looking for a Planned Works Supervisor to join our client, a housing association based in West London.
Role Overview: To manage and coordinate major works across the housing stock, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time and to specification.
Duties include:
- Conduct inspections to ensure that all health and safety, compliance, and quality standards are met.
- Allocate jobs to in-house teams or external contractors, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations, including asbestos awareness and risk assessments.
- Liaise with tenants, housing officers, lettings teams, and contractors to coordinate smooth handovers and effective communication.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and improve turnaround times without compromising quality.
You Will Need:
- Experience in supervising or managing planned/major works projects or repairs work in a social housing or property maintenance environment.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Good knowledge of building maintenance and relevant trades.
- Understanding of health and safety, building regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong organisation, communication, and IT skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
