Electrical Qualifying Supervisor An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician or Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join a respected housing association focused on electrical compliance, quality assurance and technical supervision. The Role As the organisation's Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical standards, compliance and quality across maintenance and property-related works. You will provide technical guidance to electricians and contractors, review electrical certification and testing, and ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with current regulations and BS 7671. Responsibilities * Act as the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, overseeing electrical standards and compliance. * Review and monitor electrical installation, testing and remedial works. * Ensure electrical works comply with BS 7671 and current regulations. * Review EICRs, electrical certificates and test results for accuracy and compliance. * Provide technical support and guidance to electricians and electrical contractors. * Monitor the quality of completed works and identify any remedial requirements. * Support the management of electrical compliance across contracts and projects. * Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers and internal teams regarding electrical requirements. * Maintain accurate compliance records and electrical documentation. * Assist with audits, quality checks and continuous improvement of electrical procedures. * Ensure electrical policies and safe working practices are consistently followed. * Investigate electrical issues and provide appropriate technical solutions. Requirements The successful candidate will have: * Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical inspection and testing. * Relevant electrical qualifications, including 2391 and Lvl 3 * Experience reviewing EICRs and electrical certification. * Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail. * Good communication and organisational skills. * The ability to provide technical support and advice to electricians and contractors. * Confidence working in an office-based compliance and supervisory environment. * Previous experience within social housing, housing maintenance or property services would be advantageous.
