An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrician to join a highly respected and well-established property maintenance organisation based in Oxfordshire. This is a secure, permanent position offering an excellent salary and benefits package, together with the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of domestic and commercial properties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and remedial works, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.

The Role

  • Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works across domestic and commercial properties
  • Undertaking electrical repairs, fault finding and diagnostics
  • Completing rewires and associated electrical works
  • Carrying out inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations
  • Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently
  • Ensuring all works comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and current health and safety legislation
  • Completing electrical documentation and certification accurately
  • Working to agreed quality, safety and performance standards
  • Liaising professionally with customers, colleagues and other trades
  • Participating in a standby / call-out rota

Applicants should have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • A recognised electrical apprenticeship or suitable trade background
  • Proven experience as a qualified Electrician
  • Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
  • Experience with inspection and testing of electrical installations
  • Good working knowledge of BS7671 and current electrical regulations
  • The ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
