An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrician to join a highly respected and well-established property maintenance organisation based in Oxfordshire. This is a secure, permanent position offering an excellent salary and benefits package, together with the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of domestic and commercial properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and remedial works, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.
The Role
- Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works across domestic and commercial properties
- Undertaking electrical repairs, fault finding and diagnostics
- Completing rewires and associated electrical works
- Carrying out inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations
- Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently
- Ensuring all works comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and current health and safety legislation
- Completing electrical documentation and certification accurately
- Working to agreed quality, safety and performance standards
- Liaising professionally with customers, colleagues and other trades
- Participating in a standby / call-out rota
Applicants should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- A recognised electrical apprenticeship or suitable trade background
- Proven experience as a qualified Electrician
- Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
- Experience with inspection and testing of electrical installations
- Good working knowledge of BS7671 and current electrical regulations
- The ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
