An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join its Voids property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a background in social housing maintenance to help refurbish void properties, ensuring homes are brought back to a high standard and ready for new tenants as quickly as possible.
Working across a portfolio of residential properties, the successful candidate will carry out a variety of planned refurbishment works, playing an important role in reducing void turnaround times and delivering quality homes for local communities.
The Role
- Refurbishment of empty social housing properties.
- Kitchen and bathroom installations, including all associated works.
- Carpentry repairs and maintenance.
- Domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
- Completing works to a high standard within agreed programmes.
- Recording completed works using handheld devices.
- Working safely and professionally while delivering excellent workmanship.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within social housing, planned maintenance or void property refurbishment.
- Strong experience installing kitchens and bathrooms.
- Good all-round carpentry skills.
- Competence in plumbing.
