An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join its repair team. Working across a range of trades, you will complete repairs efficiently and safely, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible. From carpentry and plumbing repairs to tiling, plastering and flooring work, you will provide a reliable service that puts customers first. You will keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
The Role:
- Refurbishment of empty social housing properties.
- Kitchen and bathroom installations, including all associated works.
- Carpentry repairs and maintenance.
- Domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
- Completing works to a high standard within agreed programmes.
- Recording completed works using handheld devices.
- Working safely and professionally while delivering excellent workmanship.
Candidate Requirements:
- Have experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in housing or a similar environment.
- Have strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring.
- Have experience completing carpentry or UPVC repairs.
- Be competent in basic plumbing.
