We are currently recruiting an experienced roofer to join a well-established building and maintenance contractor specialising in domestic repairs.
Duties include:
- Roofing repairs
- Felt flat roof work
- Slating
- Tiling
- Sheet lead work
- Flashing
- Other associated trades i.e. basic carpentry
- Use of scaffolding, towers, easi deck etc when required
- Providing a high quality and efficient service to customers
- Focus on Health and Safety at all times
The ideal candidate:
- Will have experience in repairs and fault finding to pitch roofs, felt flat roof works, slating, tiling, sheet lead work and flashings which are all essential
- A basic level of competency within other trades such as brick work and some basic joinery would be advantageous
- A driving licence is essential
- Computer literate - able to use a tablet/PDA
