An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join its repair team.
Working across a range of trades, you'll complete repairs efficiently and safely, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible.
From carpentry and plumbing repairs to tiling, plastering and flooring work, you'll provide a reliable service that puts customers first.
You'll keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
The Role
- Refurbishment of empty social housing properties.
- Kitchen and bathroom installations, including all associated works.
- Carpentry repairs and maintenance.
- Domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
- Completing works to a high standard within agreed programmes.
- Recording completed works using handheld devices.
- Working safely and professionally while delivering excellent workmanship.
- Candidate Requirements
- Have experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in housing or a similar environment.
- Have strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring.
- Have experience completing carpentry or UPVC repairs.
- Be competent in basic plumbing repairs, including removing and refitting sinks and toilets.
- Be confident using handheld technology (tablet, smartphone etc) to record work accurately, send emails and use internal systems.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Have experience working in customers' homes or other occupied environments.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a company van.
