An established and growing heating and mechanical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Gas Engineer to join its expanding team. Based around Haywards Heath, the role covers a varied patch from Redhill and Reigate through to Brighton, as well as the surrounding rural areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that works across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors, with a strong pipeline of work and several major government contracts secured.

The Role

The successful candidate will primarily carry out domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs while also supporting commercial and industrial projects when required. Working alongside an experienced engineer and apprentice, there will always be additional support available for larger or more complex jobs.

Requirements

  • ACS Gas qualifications (essential)
  • Experience in domestic gas servicing, repairs and maintenance
  • Oil and LPG qualifications highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
