Salary: £36,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

A well-established housing provider is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join its maintenance team, working across void properties in Redhill and the surrounding areas.
/n
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role focused on bringing empty properties back up to a high standard and ready for re-letting. The ideal candidate will be confident carrying out a range of carpentry, plumbing and property refurbishment works, with experience in kitchen and bathroom fitting highly desirable.

The Role
/n
Working as part of a skilled voids team, you will be responsible for completing a variety of maintenance and refurbishment works, including:
/n
/n
- Carpentry and general joinery repairs
/n
- Plumbing repairs and installations
/n
- Kitchen fitting and refurbishment
/n
- Bathroom fitting and refurbishment
/n
- Door, frame and ironmongery repairs
/n
- Tiling and flooring
/n
- Painting and decorating
/n
- Patch plastering and making good
/n
- General property maintenance and finishing works
/n
- Preparing empty homes to a high standard ready for re-let
/n
- Working safely and professionally in line with company procedures
/n
/n
Required
/n
/n
- Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within housing maintenance, property refurbishment or a similar environment
/n
- Strong carpentry and plumbing skills
/n
- Experience of kitchen and bathroom fitting
/n
- Additional skills in painting and decorating, patch plastering, tiling or flooring would be highly advantageous
/n
- Previous experience working in social housing, private housing or void properties
/n
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
/n
- Good customer service and communication skills
/n
- Professional and presentable approach
/n
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
/n
