A leading housing provider is seeking a skilled Carpenter Multi to join its responsive repairs and maintenance team. Working across social housing properties, the role will involve delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services while providing an excellent service to residents. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied and void social housing properties.
- Complete carpentry and associated multi-trade works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Take ownership of jobs from start to finish, achieving first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Work within agreed timescales, budgets and health and safety requirements.
- Identify when additional trades or specialist support is required.
- Accurately record completed works using electronic systems.
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to deliver an effective repairs service.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with residents and clients.
Requirements
- NVQ or recognised qualification in Carpentry.
- Proven experience in a multi-trade or property maintenance environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Social housing experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Strong practical skills and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working at height, on uneven ground and within confined spaces where required.
- Reliable, self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £40,660 per annum
- Company van and fuel card provided.
- 25 days' annual leave, increasing to 28 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years' service.
