Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven Contract Sales Assistant to become a key part of our team at Glasgow Hillington. You will be at the centre of our contracts operation, ensuring our largest customers get the materials they need, exactly when and where they need them. You will work closely with contractors, site managers, and suppliers, coordinating deliveries that keep major plumbing and heating projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of customer contracts - ensuring stock, orders, and deliveries are on track
- Working closely with contractors and site teams to organise deliveries and meet project schedules
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating orders to fulfil contract requirements
- Keeping all contract documentation, order records, and schedules up-to-date and accurate
- Supporting the Profit Centre Manager by flagging any supply issues, delays, or stock risks early
- Helping to ensure smooth, reliable service to key customers - protecting our reputation and contract relationships
What We Are Looking For:
- Practical experience supporting contracts, projects, or customer accounts
- Strong organisational skills - able to manage project paperwork, timelines, and schedules confidently
- Good relationship management - comfortable working with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects moving
- Comfortable handling basic invoicing, project costs, and contract documentation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning scheduling or CRM systems
- Knowledge of the plumbing, heating, or building services industry is an advantage - but just as important is a proactive, can-do approach
