About The Role
Section Engineer – Permanent Opportunity
DIVISION: Civil Engineering
LOCATION: Northern Ireland

We are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join our team in Northern Ireland, working on our NI Water Framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a variety of Water and Wastewater projects, working alongside a collaborative and supportive site management team.
We are seeking someone with a strong background in civil engineering and proven experience in a Section Engineer role. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractors and site operations to meet project deadlines
- Review drawings, quantities, and schedule materials
- Liaise with consultants and subcontractors
- Monitor site labour and ensure HSE compliance
- Maintain quality records and resolve technical issues
- Conduct material testing and instrument calibration
- Keep a detailed site diary and support the wider site team
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Support the Project Manager with construction delivery
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in a Section Engineer role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS card
- Health produces clear reports and documentation
