Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be suitably experienced in the delivery of all aspects of electrical installation works from light commercial installations.
- Manage subcontractors ensuring all documentation is completed and works are completed to best practice standards.
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks are completed as per our SLA.
- Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times.
- Have sufficient knowledge of the current IET wiring regulations ensuring all works meet the requirements of the current IET wiring regulations.
- Undertake a range of minor installation and completion tasks including but not limited to single and three phase low voltage distribution cabling and equipment, steel & PVC trunking/tray/conduit containment, final circuit cabling, second fix final termination of wiring accessories, data networking, HVCA controls, fault finding, inspection & testing.
- Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
- Liaise closely with the facilities manager to develop engineering solutions to meet clients requirements and budgets.
- Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
- Have a sound understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and associated IET guidance documents in relation to best practice and principles.

About You
Essential Criteria:
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrician, having completed an Electrical Apprenticeship.
- Hold a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.
- National Rules for Electrical Installations - I.S. 10101:2020.
- Current Full Irish Driver’s License.
- Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card.
- Normal eyesight colour vision.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in planned & reactive maintenance in a corporate setting.
- Trouble shooting, problem solver, self motivated.
- Possess IT Skills and a good knowledge on Maintenance Management Systems, including planning of preventative maintenance, reporting and documentation.
- High Voltage awareness training.
- Mechanical Knowledge.
