We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Hillsborough. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality operational HR services while leading strategic initiatives that support our organisational goals and values. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in employee relations and HR business partnering, with a strong ability to advise managers and employees across a range of HR matters. A background in fast-paced environments and managing large employee groups is highly desirable.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience supporting UK employees working in the Republic of Ireland, with a sound understanding of cross-border employment practices and legislation. A full UK driving licence is required, and the role involves travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes across the UK
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases for KPI reporting
- Liaise with Payroll regarding terms and conditions
- Monitor, review, and update HR policies and procedures
- Partner with managers to address business challenges and enhance employee engagement
- Manage employee relations including performance, conduct, absence, and probation (UK & ROI)
- Deliver People Management training as required
- Support the Head of HR on strategic and operational projects
Essential Requirements:
- Strong, proven experience in a similar HR role
- CIPD Level 7 qualification
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Technical understanding of HR systems and sound employment law knowledge
- Experience in fast-paced environments with large staff numbers
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage change effectively
- Full UK driving licence (travel throughout UK and Ireland required)
- Experience supporting UK employees working in the Republic of Ireland
