LOCATION: Helensburgh , Scotland
CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term (Initial 12month), Full time (39hrs p/w)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Operative, who will deliver high standards on our busy construction site, ensuring site offices and welfare units are thoroughly cleansed and kept neat and tidy. You will be self-motivated and will have the ability to work with minimal supervision, using your own initiative. Knowledge of health and safety requirements and previous practical experience in a cleaning role are essential.

This is initially a 12month Fixed term contract, with the potential to extend. There will be occasional weekend overtime available for this position. This role is based on site full time 5 days per week and requires security clearance, which we can facilitate if necessary.

Job Description:
Overview of Duties:

· Maintain cleanliness of site offices and welfare units by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
· Sweep, suction clean, mop, dry buff, spray clean, spray wax, machine scrub and polish relevant surfaces.
· Ensure litter and waste is removed and disposed of correctly at the designated collection points.
· Clean all sanitary facilities.
· Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.
· Adhere to health and safety guidelines
· Use and care for any cleaning equipment issued in an appropriate and safe manner
· Report any maintenance or repair issues
· Complete any necessary paperwork

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Site Cleaning Operative and the range of duties to be undertaken.

It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.

Essential

· Previous experience in a similar Cleaning Operative role
· Understanding of health and safety requirements relating to cleaning appliances and products
· Ability to work alone and manage time effectively
· Must hold a full British Passport.
· Hold full Security Clearance or be willing to obtain it

· Knowledge of a construction environment
