We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our Building Division and lead a project in Bath, South West England. You will play a crucial role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Experience within Student Accommodation, PBSA, or BTR projects would be highly advantageous. We’re looking for a candidate with a strong drive to excel and deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, swiftly identifying and addressing any challenges.
  • Maintain clear communication and alignment among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Inspire and lead on-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee site documentation, including permits, drawings, and progress reports.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to enhance site performance.

Requirements:

Essential Technical Competencies:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering projects within Student Accommodation, PBSA, or BTR projects.
  • Working knowledge of BIM processes, 4D sequencing, or digital construction methodologies.
  • Experience managing complex or multi-phase developments.
