Working as part of the engineering team you will contribute to the delivery of an effective, proactive and customer driven service to Water treatment plants and pumping stations. Work will vary between planned and reactive maintenance; this will sometimes require lone working as well as working in a team depending on the job. You will start the working day from home travelling directly to any site as required to carry out work. Work will be issued on electronic devices running our work management software.

Responsibilities
  • Have a multi-skilled approach.
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance as well as some minor installations on water, wastewater and network water sites (occasional work outside the main contract may be required).
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
  • Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognised Electrical apprenticeship.
  • Current IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.
  • 12 months' experience planned and reactive maintenance activities in the water industry.
  • 12 months' experience in providing call out service.
  • Experience working around confined spaces.
  • Registered CSCS/CSR Card (Or equivalent).
