Working as part of the mobile engineering team you will contribute to the delivery of an effective proactive contract within the Water Industry. You will be part of a two-person team, primarily unblocking wastewater pumps in Wastewater Treatment Plants and Wastewater Pumping Stations, as well as carrying out preventative maintenance tasks when required. You will start the working day from home traveling directly to any site as required to carry out work. Work will be issued on electronic devices running our work management software. A van, fuel card and Satellite Navigation will be provided to each two-person team.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Pump unblocks and occasional planned maintenance on Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater pumping stations (occasional work outside the main contract may be required).
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
  • Use your own initiative to ensure that each job is completed as efficiently and safely as possible.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal Mechanical or Trade/Craft Qualification (Or equivalent) OR 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Full Valid UK Driver’s License.
  • Experience in providing call out services mechanical planned/reactive maintenance activities within the water industry.
  • Registered CSCS/CSR Card (Or equivalent).
