We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to join our busy Inspection team. The main duties of the role include visual and dye penetrant inspection of welds and performing manual dimensional inspection on machined, pressed and fabricated components.
Suitable Candidates will demonstrate:
- Time served through a recognised welding and fabrication apprenticeship with a strong track record working within an engineering background;
- Previous experience of inspection;
- Inspection qualifications such as PCN Level 2/CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector and PCN Level 2 in Penetrant inspector;
- Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings;
- Experience of working with stainless steel and mild steel components;
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and work to tight targets and deadlines;
- Strong organisational skills with a good level of concentration;
- A willingness to attend academic training courses.
