We’re on the lookout for a talented Painter and Decorator to join our small but mighty facilities team. In this standalone role, you’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring every space reflects our commitment to quality and design excellence. Whether it’s office refurbishments, commercial customer-facing spaces, or larger Capex projects, your skills as a Painter and Decorator will help bring our vision to life. Ideally 3 days per week but we are flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Turning blank walls into works of art and creating beautiful spaces by decorating defined areas/projects to a high standard, ensuring full preparation in advance.
- Getting hands-on with a variety of surfaces such as metal, wood, plaster, and masonry.
- Interpreting designs, plans, and specs from your manager and the design team to bring their vision to life, collaborating with contractors and tradespeople on larger projects.
- Owning your projects and delivering top-quality work that is finished on time and to the highest standard.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Organising your day to ensure everything is completed on time and within budget.
- Placing material orders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Making independent decisions on project evaluation, material costings, and execution for your solo projects.
- Prioritising safety first, assessing risks, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience using access equipment (or a willingness to get trained up).
- General building knowledge is a bonus.
- Full UK driving license or equivalent for travel requirements.
