About The Role
At GRAHAM, we are seeking a Multi Skilled ICA Technician to join us to help create a hassle-free environment for our clients and engineers. We are committed to investing in our people and creating the conditions for them to excel.
Location: NI Water - Mobile throughout Northern Ireland
Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

The Multi Skilled ICA Technician will:
- Have a Multi-skilled approach
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance as well as some minor installations on water, wastewater and network water sites.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times.
- Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities.
- Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works.
- Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out.
- Pro-actively identify and report follow-on works.
- Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards.
- Undertake a range of electrical works including planned maintenance, fault finding, work on motors, electrical panels, lighting, variable speed drives, UPS systems, instrumentation and process equipment.
- Assist any other trade as required.
- Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis.
- Work unsupervised in a large geographical area and prioritise workload.
- Provide regular out of hours cover by participating in an on-call rota.
About You
Essential Criteria:
- A recognised Electrical, ICA Craft or Technician apprenticeship
- Full UK Driver's License
Desirable Criteria:
- 12 months experience in ICA planned and reactive maintenance activities in the water industry
- 12 months experience in providing call out services
- Experience working around confined spaces
- Registered CSCS/CSR Card (Or equivalent)
- Current IEE Wiring Regulations
- COSHH training
- Confined space training
- High Voltage awareness training
- National Water Hygiene card holder
- Manual Handling training
- Experience of Profibus installations
- Working knowledge of a wide range of analytical Instrumentation
- Experience assisting with various trades/types of maintenance on water and wastewater sites
- Experience of SCADA systems
- Experience of Pressure, level and flow instrumentation
