– 3:45 pm Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Benefits You’ll Enjoy: Paid Annual Leave: Up to 33 days Company Pension: Secure your future with our excellent pension plan Life Assurance: Free cover at 6x your annual salary Health & Wellbeing: Access to discounted private health care, gym memberships, and BUPA health assessments Learning & Development: Continuous training and career growth opportunities Your Role as a Fire and Security Engineer As a key member of the GRAHAM Fire & Security Mobile Engineering Team, you will: Maintain and Repair: Conduct pre-planned maintenance and complete remedial repairs on a variety of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Install and Configure: Perform installation works across various fire and security systems, ensuring that our clients benefit from top-tier safety and security solutions.
Deliver Excellence: Provide exceptional services to our high-profile clients, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to relevant regulations.
About You Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone with strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence.
While not every qualification is essential, the more boxes you tick, the better Essential Criteria: Certification: City & Guilds (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent) in electrical/electronic equipment installation.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a multi-disciplined fire and security role.
Technical Knowledge: Proven expertise in the installation and maintenance of various fire and security systems.
Regulatory Know-How: Working knowledge of relevant fire and security standards (BS, BS6266:2011, BS7273, BS4737, PD6662, and DD243).
Driving License: Full UK driving license.
On-Call Availability: Willingness to participate in the company’s on-call rota.
Desirable Criteria: Fire Panel Knowledge: Familiarity with fire panels such as C-Tec, GENT, Cooper Menvier, Siemens, Edwards, Ziton, Cerberus, or Bell.
Security Systems Expertise: Knowledge of intruder alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and intercom equipment like Galaxy, Paxton, Honeywell, and Indigo Vision.
