Reporting to the Account Manager, the Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as occasional new minor installation work. You will work as part of the mobile maintenance team, and must demonstrate a sound knowledge of heating systems. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and improve efficiency, where possible. You will be required to participate in the company's on call rota. Your varied, but valued, contribution will help us create a hassle-free environment.

Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

The Plumbing Engineer shall:
- Undertake remedial works on hot and cold water systems.
- Assist when required with monitoring inspections that involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMV servicing, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, risk assessment review and logbook auditing (training can be provided).
- The maintenance tasks will include plumbing repairs, alterations and installation works associated with domestic hot & cold water systems.
- The role will involve working in a multi-site capacity therefore you must be prepared to travel throughout Northern Ireland.
- The inspections will be undertaken using a PDA and web-based electronic log book system.
- Undertake monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274.

About You
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrate plumbing qualification, C&G Level 3 with a minimum of 1 years post apprenticeship experience.
- Demonstrate previous experience in related water system remediation/maintenance works.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations).
- Clean Driving Licence.
- Ability to achieve DBS clearance to enable working in facilities with vulnerable persons/secure facilities.
Desirable Criteria
- City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training.
- Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of Chemical Water Treatment systems.
- Flexibility to work additional hours.
- Flexibility to travel for short periods to work on mainland UK contracts if required.
