If you are an experienced Cleaning Operative with an appetite to succeed, we want you to join our team. Location: Lagan College, Belfast Hours Per Week: 15hrs, Monday- Friday 15:30 - 18:30 Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time Benefits: Up to 33 days paid annual leave, Excellent Company Pension, Free Life Assurance-6 times annual salary, Training and Development, Discounted Private Health Care Scheme, Discounted Gym Membership and BUPA Health Assessments The Cleaning Operative shall: Sweep, suction clean, mop, dry buff, spray clean, spray wax, machine scrub and dry, strip and re-polish floors using appropriate equipment Clean and remove stains of soft floor surfaces (carpets/matting) using the appropriate cleaning method Clean body fluids/solids from time to time using the appropriate cleaning method Clean toilet and shower areas including the fixtures and fittings and replenish toiletries. Clean, wash and dust ledges, walls, fixtures, fittings and internal surfaces. Polishing furniture where appropriate Empty and clean internal litter bins and remove litter to the designated collection points Use and care for any cleaning equipment issued in an appropriate and safe manner Complete all necessary paperwork Any other reasonable duties required by the Facilities Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the contract This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals. About You Essential Criteria 1. Demonstrate previous experience in a similar cleaning role 2. Demonstrate and be able to speak conversational English Desirable Criteria 1.
