Electrical Supervisor in City of London

Location: Mobile – Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Hours Per Week: Monday – Friday, 40 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks
• Coordinate with the helpdesk to schedule PPM and reactive works
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery of PPM and reactive tasks
• Manage and deliver extra works, ensuring completion on time and within budget
• Issue permits to work and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Attend regular client update meetings to report on progress and address concerns
• Participate in progress meetings and prepare reports for GRAHAM senior management
• Collaborate with the site Quantity Surveyor (QS) team to support quotations for extra works
• Manage on-site Health & Safety, including inductions for GRAHAM staff and subcontractors
• Liaise with end users to keep them informed of work progress and address any issues
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and comply with current regulations
• Collate material requirements and submit orders to the Service Desk
• Conduct regular audits of engineers, work quality, vehicles, and subcontractor performance
• Review and sign off weekly engineer timesheets to verify accuracy of recorded hours
• Participate in the out-of-hours escalation rota to provide emergency support
• Report regularly to senior management on operational performance and issues

About You

Essential Criteria

• Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) / Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
• Formal Qualification NVQ Level 3 electrician or equivalent
• City and Guilds 2394/2395 (2391) Level 3 qualification
• Normal eyesight colour vision
• Highly experienced in electrical installation works for commercial and industrial installations
• Current 18th IET Wiring Regulations
• Demonstrate relevant previous experience in a similar role working within a trade or construction background
• Demonstrate previous relevant management experience
• Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Full UK drivers licence
• Proven Leadership and people management skills
• Ability to successfully complete security clearance
