Your varied, but valued, contribution will help us create a hassle-free environment for all.

Location: Swansea
Hours: 37.5hrs, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time/Perm

The Electrician will:

  • Work as part of the Graham FM Engineering Team with responsibility for the completion of planned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Complete reactive and remedial tasks within contractual SLAs.
  • Play a key role in planning and completing a varied range of works mostly associated with electrical systems, including installation and testing of these systems.
  • Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high-profile Clients and deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance.
  • Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
  • Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times.
  • Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations and contract specifications.
  • Report and record procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.
  • Utilise PDAs and electronic devices to complete works.
  • Liaise closely with our helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works, either working on your own or as part of a team.
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task.
  • Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis, representing the Company and being courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.
  • Provide regular out-of-hours cover on a rota system.

Essential:

  • C&G Lv 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade.
  • Electrical Inspection & Testing 2391-52.
  • Hold a minimum of 3 years experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.
  • AM2 C&G 2382 18th Edition.
  • Current Full UK Drivers License.

Desirable Criteria:

  • IOSH Working safely or CSCS Card.
  • IT Skills in the use of PDAs.
  • ECS/CSCS H&S qualification.
  • IPAF and PASMA Trained.
