Bring interiors to life. Inspire customers. Shape beautiful homes.
Welcome to Graham & Brown Holdings – a family of companies; founded in 1946 we are a proud British, fourth-generation family of companies. For 80 years, we’ve been inspiring people to think differently about their homes through creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Across both Graham & Brown and G&B Home Living our vision is simple: to design our future, and our mission is clear: to help our customers create loving homes.
Graham & Brown has been at the forefront of interior design for eight decades. From our in-house studio, we create premium wallpapers, paints, murals, soft furnishings, bed linen, and wall art, drawing inspiration from an archive of over 50,000 pieces.
At Graham & Brown, we believe great design transforms spaces — and great people make it happen. We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and customer‑focused Colour & Design Advisor to join our small, dynamic Showroom team and help customers turn inspiration into reality.
This is a hands‑on, highly interactive role where your eye for design, love of interiors, and ability to connect with people will shine. You’ll curate mood boards, offer expert styling advice, and guide customers through our premium product range to help them create homes they truly love.
And because our customers are most inspired — and most active — at weekends, this role includes significant weekend working. As a small team, we all pull together to deliver an exceptional experience when it matters most.
What you’ll be doing as our Colour & Design Advisor:
- Creating a stylish, welcoming Showroom environment that reflects the Graham & Brown brand
- Inspiring customers with expert interior design advice and personalised consultations
- Curating bespoke mood boards and design presentations
- Developing deep product knowledge across materials, finishes, and design trends
- Delivering exceptional, memorable customer experiences from first hello to final purchase

- Outreaching to our local community to let them know we are here!
How you’ll work as our Colour & Design Advisor:
- Managing daily showroom operations to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Keeping displays immaculate and visually inspiring
- Planning weekly maintenance for the paint mixing machine and ensuring stock replenishment
- Staying up to date with interior trends to elevate customer consultations
- Making confident, commercially sound decisions — often independently
Who you’ll work with as our Colour & Design Advisor:
- A small, supportive Showroom team who collaborate closely
- Colleagues across the wider Graham & Brown Group
- Marketing teams to align Showroom displays with brand campaigns
- Customers who value your expertise and return because of the experience you create
What you’ll bring as our Colour & Design Advisor:
- A genuine passion for interiors and design
- Proven sales experience and a track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meeting KPIs
- Strong visual merchandising skills and an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and the ability to build rapport effortlessly
- Confidence with digital tools and order processing systems
- A proactive, self‑motivated, and trustworthy approach
- A team‑focused mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
The perks as our Colour & Design Advisor:
- 6.4 weeks’ holiday, inclusive of Bank Holidays (pro-rated for part time)
- Birthday day off in addition
- Rewarding bonus scheme
- First class Interiors training
- Generous discount of up to 60% for you, your friends & your family
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Generous pension, totalling 10%
- Life Assurance
- Supportive, friendly team culture – because work should be enjoyable
- A beautiful, design-led showroom to call your work home!
Why this role is special:
This is a role for someone who loves creativity, thrives on customer interaction, and enjoys seeing their design advice come to life in real homes. You’ll have real influence, real responsibility, and the chance to be part of a brand with a rich heritage and a bold future. And yes — weekends are a big part of the job. They’re when our customers visit, when the showroom buzzes, and when your impact is felt most. If you enjoy being at the heart of the action, you’ll love it here.
