Occupational Health Advisor Salary: £46k – £48k Wigan – office based Grafton Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well-established organisation in their search for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA). This is a great opportunity to support the prevention of work-related illness and injury by providing proactive robust clinical advice and recommendations to the company. THE ROLE: Some of your responsibilities as an Occupational Health Advisor: You will provide comprehensive occupational health support to the company, including overseeing the health surveillance programme to ensure that all legal and mandatory compliance requirements are adhered to. Complete fitness for work Health Assessments for new starters. Support the Occupational Health Manager and deputise as necessary. Ensure that clinical records are completed in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council\’s (NMC) guidelines on medical confidentiality. Promote health and wellbeing by delivering presentations and training sessions. Attend regular meetings with HR and operational managers to provide an overview of occupational health activities and updates on employee health issues, including absence cases. To provide management with robust clinical advice and recommendations in relation to the employee\’s health. THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Health Advisor with the following qualifications: NMC Level One registration Relevant OH Diploma or Degree Excellent communication and relationship management skills Ability to work cross-functionally, influencing and collaborating with various teams.
