The Senior HR Advisor serves as the operational backbone of the regional HR function, providing comprehensive, end-to-end HR management and high-quality advisory support. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role bridges strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end employee journey, including drafting employment offers, coordinating onboarding, tracking probations, and managing offboarding.
- Employee Relations (ER): Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and staff on ER matters. Provide pragmatic advice on performance, absence, grievances, and disciplinary procedures in line with local best practices.
- Payroll Preparation: Manage data collection and accuracy for monthly payroll cycles, tracking variables like overtime, unpaid leave, and salary adjustments.
- Policy & Compliance: Maintain and update regional HR policies and employee handbooks, ensuring strict alignment with evolving employment legislation and data protection standards.
- HR Systems Management & Analytics
- HRIS Administration: Serve as the local gatekeeper and super-user for the global HRIS system, ensuring all personnel files, organizational changes, and data points are accurate.
- System Workflows: Manage system permissions, process data updates, and build operational reports or workflows.
- Data & Analytics: Leverage systems data to generate insightful HR metrics (attrition, headcount, absence trends) to support regional leadership.
- Health, Safety & Governance
- H&S Collaboration: Support health and safety functions by championing safe working environments and agreed codes of practice.
- Governance & Values: Uphold corporate governance, risk frameworks, and promote core company values.
Experience Required
- Established HR Background: Proven dedicated HR experience within a fast-paced environment, currently operating at an Advisor or Senior Advisor level.
- Employment Law Fluency: Solid, hands-on experience handling employee relations casework independently and interpreting employment legislation.
- Payroll Coordination: Direct experience preparing and cross-checking monthly payroll data.
- Systems Expertise: Proven track record of managing global HRIS platforms and business systems.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Qualifications: CIPD qualified (Level 5 preferred) or a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a business-related discipline.
- Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in HR data structures, reporting workflows, and Excel.
