A global leader in trading, investment, and supply‑chain innovation is hiring an HR Manager / Senior HR Advisor to power its growing European footprint. If you bring strong UK employment law expertise and a passion for building exceptional workplaces, this is your chance to shape people strategy at scale within a fast‑moving, collaborative HR team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies and UK employment law to managers and employees.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including interviews, psychometric assessments, and selection processes.
  • Support HR operations across subsidiary companies within the European region.
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies in line with UK legislation and best practice.
  • Lead and manage a wide range of employee relations matters, including flexible working, grievances, sickness absence, maternity, redundancy, restructuring, and TUPE transfers.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process for the London office.
  • Lead and deliver HR projects across the Europe Bloc as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely administration of HR processes including contracts, onboarding, pre‑employment checks, probation, transfers, and leavers.
  • Work closely with the payroll team to ensure smooth processing of HR‑related transactions.
  • Support managers and employees with training and L&D needs.

  • Advanced understanding of UK employment law.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Experience

  • Experience working in an HR department, ideally within a large multinational organisation.
  • Broad HR generalist experience across operations, advisory work, recruitment, and employee relations.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in HR or a related field.
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above preferred).
