This business is recognised for providing competitive, flexible and fully customised transport solutions across land, sea and air, with a particular strength in services between the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and mainland Europe.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will support export operations from the UK and Ireland, ensuring the smooth, timely and compliant movement of full loads and groupage shipments. Depending on experience, responsibilities will include:
- Managing export operations and administration for UK and Ireland full loads
- Planning Irish imports transiting via the UK for both full loads and groupage
- Delivering first class customer service and acting as a key point of contact
- Taking bookings and entering all details into internal systems
- Liaising closely with transport planners and shipping lines to ensure efficient movements
- Overseeing all aspects of full load export operations including participation in an on call rota
- Completing export customs clearances using Descartes or Destin8
- Completing export transit documentation using Descartes
Person Specification
- Minimum of three years experience in exports, imports, groupage or full loads
- Confident, approachable and able to build strong working relationships
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Customer focused with a genuine commitment to providing excellent service
- Strong decision making skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a time sensitive environment
- Logical, methodical and capable of solving problems independently and as part of a team
- IT literate and confident working with internal systems
- Willing to learn other roles within the team to broaden capability
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
- Participation in an on call rota one week in five, covering evening calls and working Saturday mornings until duties are complete
- Time off in lieu provided on the following Monday afternoon
