A leading Tier 1 main contractor is hiring a Site Manager for a major £10m+ project in Waterford. This is a permanent opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering high-quality, multi-million builds with clear progression.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive EHS, QA/QC and programme on site, maintaining best-in-class standards and records
  • Manage PMP/ITP compliance, BIM inspections/close-out, daily diaries, QA sheets and NCRs
  • Produce short-term subcontractor programmes and input to weekly progress reporting
  • Maintain commercial discipline: understand subcontract scopes, manage material call-offs/GRNs, and control dayworks/instructions
  • Lead inductions/RAMS compliance (incl. CSCS checks), plus welfare, security and stakeholder liaison
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, Building Control and statutory bodies

Requirements

  • Construction-related degree
  • 5-10+ years with a main contractor (Ireland/UK) on £10m+ projects
