Ready to take full ownership of a high-profile healthcare build in Galway? We're looking for a strong, hands-on Project Manager to lead the mechanical (HVAC) delivery on site - from early coordination through commissioning and close-out - driving programme, quality, and safety every step of the way.
The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering the project in line with contract requirements, programme deadlines, company quality standards, and all relevant construction regulations. This is a leadership role with real autonomy, strong site presence, and close collaboration with the main contractor and internal engineering/commercial teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end project delivery: programme, quality, safety, and compliance
- Maintain the Site Office and Stores to a consistently high standard
- Coordinate mechanical services with builders' work and manage drawing interfaces
- Issue bi-weekly P&T HILTI reports
- Maintain the master requisition schedule and manage procurement flow
- Order materials, track plant delivery dates, and ensure deliveries align with programme
- Record deliveries, liaise with suppliers, and issue signed delivery dockets to Procurement
- Support payroll with timesheet queries as required
- Manage subcontractors and direct staff on site - driving safe, high-quality installation
- Support Project Engineers to ensure Quality Assured documentation is delivered to milestones
- Attend site meetings and daily whiteboard sessions with the main contractor
- Ensure installations meet required standards throughout delivery
- Support the Contracts Manager in developing and maintaining the programme of works
- Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services
- Drive project close-down actions and site decant
What We're Looking For
- Proven Project Management experience delivering HVAC/mechanical installations (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/Project exposure beneficial)
- Confident leader and clear communicator - able to drive teams and stakeholders to deadlines
- A continuous improvement mindset: organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
